Thanks so much Julie. I'll look at the links tomorrow, and PM you tomorrow. I greatly appreciate all your help. They basically awarded me my retro pay from when I first applied, and never told me much about anything.

I talked to a very competent employee today at the SSA office and she told me that if you got married, YES, you would loose those benefits. There is one exception, if she is also disabled and on SSDI then your loss of benefits would be negated, but I'm sure that's not the case.

Let me know if you need help, I'm happy to!

BTW I talked to the SS and I can indeed get married and not worry about losing any of my benefits! I am on SSD (I think she corrected me when I said SSDI). She also said that if I were to go and work full time somewhere else and get off my payments/benefits, as long as I do it within 5 years they could expedite me back onto either my fathers or what I have accrued on my own, and whichever would be more, that's what I would get.

So basically good news all around. I will call back two or three more times, taking down names each time to document it, and asking those times as well just to make sure. But so far, great news for me!
