so saveferris, ive read youre a real proponet of the eflow and know a lot of it. (ps, giggles says "the eflow by pari" in her first post)
i went on to the TRIO, formerly eFlow, site and re-read the cleaning instructions.
Its been a year or more since I had my eFlow, which i absolutely destested after about one week of using it with a new head (mine would clog and after about a week sometimes two, would be the same time as a reg neb + 4 times the prep and cleaning time). A lot of things have changed compared to when I first got it... but anywho...
when they say "bottled sterile or boiled distilled water" what is that? Bottled water isnt necessarily sterile and then does that mean i have to buy a gallon of distilled water then boil it each time I go to clean the nebulizer stuff? this is probably a dumb question
I use distilled water for my nebs now, in my baby bottle sterilizer but I do not boil it before I put it in. I use hot soapy tap water to wash the nebs then steam sterilize, then alcohol (and in the future control III).
I hated the eFlow b/c it was a pain to clean, and even when I followed the previous cleaning instructions (they've gotten more detailed), on a printed piece of paper (so fancy) the stupid head would still clog.
Anyways, I used hts with it and some are saying maybe thats why it might have been getting clogged... I rinsed between meds as well.
if it works as well as everyone says, maybe i was doing something wrong back then... plus they've updated everything as well it seems.
