Double Delta F508

My brother and I are DDF508. Both of us have had pretty good health up until recently. I was diagnosed at 18 months after my brother had "failure to thrive", so we were both tested because my mom said I kept a cold. I have never been admitted to the hospital (but my time is coming pretty soon, I can tell). My brother was admitted in March for the first time since he was a baby (he's 18). When he went in his FEV1 was 53% and when he came out, it was in the 90s. Mine have been at 64% for the past few visits, so that's why I think my time is coming. Both of ours used to stay between the 80s and 90s up untill about a year ago.

I like this thread a lot. Some of us seem to have the same stories, and others are plugging along with their lungs. Shows you that life is definitely a combo of nature and nurture.
