So the radiologist report from the xray came back, nothing showed on the xray. Next step is the sweat test. The dr said when she found out when we could get him in she'd let me know. What should I expect from the test? She told me they use electrodes. I really hope the sweat test comes out negative, I'm really scared.

even if the sweat test comes out negative, the child could still have CF. this is a big drawback of sweat tests.

push for a Full genetic test as Alyssa stated........ sweat tests are like testing for a broken bone without getting an x-ray.

The Dr called. My son will be going in on Thursday Morning for the sweat test in the pediatrics dept of the hospital. I will also push for the genetic tests. I'll let you all know how we make out. How long should it take to get the results of the sweat test?
