I do horrible in the midwest (where I am from)-- too much humidity. I do much better in a drier climate. The cold weather bugs my lungs and my joints. I love the spring and fall... just right!!

Do you think we can get prescriptions for beach houses? lol

Extremely hot or extremely cold bother me, and add in humidity to the extremely hot, and I am in the a/c for the day. 60-80 degrees is great for me .

I also discovered at the beach last year that I could snorkle (near the beach) for a couple of hours without getting worn out- that was amazing for me! I also start out my days on a beach vacation- any day I can drag myself out of the bed that is- with a 5 am walk on the beach. The salt air and breeze make me feel so good! And my daughter enjoys the seashells I find .

I wonder if one day they will have a whole house saltwater humidifier for cf patients? Maybe I do need a saltwater fish tank .

I have often wondered this and I think it varies soooo much from person to person.

I always get sick in feb/mar due end of cold/flu season here in MI. I also hate the change of seasons, not necessarily the season itself just when it is chaning like crazy bothers my sinus's.

The main thing I hate is rain, if I had to live in seattle I would be misserable.

I thought moving to florida would be good as less changes of season however hubby pointed out how damp and humid it is which really affects me (more before xolair) so he had a point there too.

What we decided was if we were going to move I would go stay there for at least a week before decidding 'just to see'. If your daughter is thinking of going somewhere she may want to try that. Given her good health she should fair ok, I would think, either way.
