<P>OP, I do agree with Jennifer in that you need to be comfortable in your own skin. Perhaps you can make up a good joke to say at the moment you are embarrassed such as "At least swallowing shouldn't be an issue :)" or "Well this should make clean up easy (with a big smile:)"</P>
<P>It's better than one guy I knew who's issue was that his semen made a red mark anywhere it landed. My childhoodfriend broke up with him even though he said it was because she had sensitive skin WTF?!</P>

Being well hydrated changed my volume a little bit. I used to drink lots of sodas and things of that nature, then I started getting really bad kidney stones. So the docs told me to cut back on the sodas to help with that and it would also have me better hydrated. In doing that for a few months I noticed an increase in my volume. Now I will never be confused with Peter North, Google him at your own risk to see what he is famous for, but I feel it has made me somewhat close to "normal" in that area. When I get dehydrated like I am now because of the extreme heat in the area, my volume goes down some.

Yes, I meant sperm... darn trying to multitask. Sperm is definitely a contribution though, albeit small, and as others have said it might just be that your prostate and seminal vesicles are releasing a small amount of fluids as well.

I realize this is making you very insecure, but coming from a female standpoint (and I'm just speaking for myself, can't speak for other woman, but know a lot of my gf's feel the same), less is better <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

You will have to see a urologist if you really want an answer to your question. You may have retrograde ejaculation, which is when the fluid goes entirely or partially into the bladder instead of out the penis. There is a test/s for this but I'm not sure how <span class="st"><em>CBAVD would affect the accuracy of the results.<br></em>

It takes a lot to ask this question - good for you!

Sperm comes from the testicles. Semen comes from the seminal vesicles (~60%) and the prostate (~30%). The absence of the vas deferens (plural: vasa deferentia) and absence of seminal vesicles happen to (most) men with CF, so the volume of semen is usually much less.

I've talked with other men with CF who express the same concerns you have.

Please remember to use a condom if there is a chance you could get a sexual infection from a partner.

Drinking lots of fluid is always good.
