Sperm comes from the testicles. Semen comes from the seminal vesicles (~60%) and the prostate (~30%). The absence of the vas deferens (plural: vasa deferentia) and absence of seminal vesicles happen to (most) men with CF, so the volume of semen is usually much less.
I've talked with other men with CF who express the same concerns you have.
Please remember to use a condom if there is a chance you could get a sexual infection from a partner.
