Sperm comes from the testicles. Semen comes from the seminal vesicles (~60%) and the prostate (~30%). The absence of the vas deferens (plural: vasa deferentia) and absence of seminal vesicles happen to (most) men with CF, so the volume of semen is usually much less.

I've talked with other men with CF who express the same concerns you have.

Please remember to use a condom if there is a chance you could get a sexual infection from a partner.

Drinking lots of fluid is always good.

Been where you are mate n it is true what the ladies are saying in my experience - its not an issue and if anything less is best. Its not the amount of semen you spray around that causes a women to love you, but rather the confident way in which you hold her, touch her n elevate her mind into the realms of utopia with mystery n laughter. Women look for a man to give them a secure set of arms and an empathetic n caring ear, they look for your abilities to be a great hands on Dad and at all times they demand absolute honesty- even though they will ***** kick you to start as a test to see if you have balls to remain strong in your convictions. If you can cause a women to trust you mate and 'feel' loved then 10 litres or ten drops a year will not make a bit of difference. Insecurity or telling lies will though!!! Ok, black Chamelon could not have been more right on about his one, especially that 2nd sentence. I think their initial "shock" as you describe it, just has to do with the fact that its much less than what they are used to. By NO means is it a turn off. They also might be concerned that you didn't orgasm, so explaining this to them at some point, preferably beforehand might prevent a reaction entirely.
