I'll admit I was being a smart-ass with the English correction...something a lot of English speaking foreigners in Japan have done on an occasion or so.

However, the context of me being you is an obvious "no" for an answer.

But, your question regarding the U.S. economy having no effect on me was given a reply with the fact that it does because I am ALSO a U.S. Citizen. However, I will also add the fact that when the U.S. economy was effected in a downward direction, Japan was effected ten-fold. So, it DOES affect me.

And, I don't see how you can make any sort of "educated decisions" regarding politics in current events without reference to some sort of media. Unless you got a direct line from the White House or something?

But, I understand that most people can make decisions without the media's help.
