Fantisy Hospital room

I was just in the hospital and I was just thinking about how I would do some things differnetly if I would design of hospital room or a hospital.
In Hospital Rooms:

I would make a way to change the channels on the TV a little bit differently. If I want to go to a certain station, then I could do it without going either up or down 20 channels.

Have a Bed for guest

Have two tables in the room. One for games or a place for my newspaper to be spread out or to place a laptop

A bathtub

Tons of towels in the bathroom so I don't have to ask

A massaging chair

A DVD or VCR

For Adult Hospitals:
A Library
A Video place where you can check out movies. All the patients have to do is check out movies by their hospital ID so the hospital can have an ideal where the movies are to be found
A little picnic area

My question to you is how would you design a hospital room or a hospital to better please the patients?

The tons of towels in the bathroom whould be SOFT towels. The cheap towels and washcloths I had in the hospital last time were so itchy they actually irritated my skin.

Also, soft, luxury toilet paper. It should be the kind of toilet paper that would clog an ordinary toilet. I would also want a super no-clog toilet capable of flushing a wool-knit sweater with no problems... and my own toilet plunger in the room... just in case.

Soft bedsheets and a comforter and huge pillows.

Also, when the IV pole needs to beep, it beeps in the nurse's station, NOT in my room.

A little mini-fridge... no, a great-big huge fridge stocked with goodies.

Windows I can open... in fact, just give me a sliding door and a balconey.

Oh I like this one!!!
I am going to list mine some of which are already said hehe

- VCR and DVD available to rent while there
- ability to rent movies to use in the above
- larger rooms so that when 3 people come to visit someone isn't standing in the bathroom doorway
- more than one chair and preferably a nice comfy sofa instead of those nasty non-reclining chairs
-in-room thermostats so I don't sweat my tush off anymore
-(stealing from Mockingbird) the IV to beep in the nurses station too
- larger towels so that when I wrap it around myself my tush isn't hanging out and I can put all my hair up in one (my hair is looong)
- wireless internet that is not password protected or if it is, give the patients access to it if they ask
- a computer room for those patients who don't have laptops
- stocked fridge full of ice cream and snacks just for CFers, either in the room or in the nurses' kitchen
- caller id so if I am getting CPT and someone calls I know who it was and can call back, or so I don't have to answer if I don't want to talk to them
- more channels, I'll pay for the premium channels if I can get them!!!
- softer sheets and towels
- cotton bed protectors!! those plastic matresses are sweatboxes!!!

I think that is about it
