I sewed the straps to the top of the back of the suit (it was really easy, I promise), in a "V" shape, with a little - maybe 3"? of the tie left hanging at the bottom, and it really looked nice, if I do say so myself (and my step MIL commented on that suit when we went to the beach, so I feel safe saying that, lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ). It was also <i>really</i> comfortable like that <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> . <br />Since I swim 3 days a week, I have these chlorine resistant suits: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.blair.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&langId=-1&categoryId=87679&pcats=87616,87679&productId=27597&cmCategoryId=v7">boy leg (shorts) swimsuit, leaf print</a> and am thinking of getting this one (though not chlorine resistant- this would be for the lake, beach, etc. : <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.blair.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&langId=-1&categoryId=87679&pcats=87616,87679&productId=39649">one piece tankini look</a> The boy leg (otherwise known as shorts, of course) are nice because they cover like a skirt (think bikini area "upkeep", lol), but don't "float up" in the water like a skirt can. I also found the sizing chart to be true, and so did a relative of mine who ordered the same suit <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> .
