flu shots

Well I talked to my nurse today, and she said that my city won't be getting any of the flu vaccin till November the earliest, so it looks like I'll have to wait an extra month before getting it. This annoys me because I know of at least 4 people who have had/ or have the flu right now.

I just got an email response from the local clinic saying the end of October have a list of locations for their flu blitz clinics. Only problem is that those are only for adults -- have to schedule a separate appointment for children thru their primary physician. I usually get my shot the middle of October. Doesn't sound like any of the clinic facilities have gotten their supply of vaccine in yet. L

I have been getting my flu shot in October for the last 11 years. I have never had the flu although others I live with have who did not get the shot. I got my flu shot yesterday.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
