Funny CF Stories

Thank you all for your stories...too funny!! I was laughing so hard my husband had to come in and see what was going on. Then of course we were both cracking up reading them. So...for my contribution, I could share about the time I greased my pants in nursing school so bad, it went all the way up my back, or how at the last Great Strides, I did so much stink damage in the bathroom stall everyone who walked in literally gasped for air, but here's a new one. 4 months ago while I was in labor with my son, I was so afraid of pooping on the table. Everyone kept saying it's ok, it happens all the time. However, I don't think they have ever experienced "CF poop"! So, while pushing him out, a few times I could feel the pressure of the contraction, but didn't push because I was having so much rectal pressure I thought for sure I was pooping!! The nurses and my husband kept saying "don't you feel that contraction? It's huge, you can push!" Then I would say "no, never felt it"!! In the end, I did not poop on the table and he is 100% healthy!!

First of all, Amy, this was hilarious! I needed a great laugh!!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

My kids and I were in a cute place to eat one day after Zoe's appts. They had put us in this far back corner right next to an old fashioned enclosed telephone booth. They had put a real phone in it so people could use it if they wanted. Well, Zoe thought it was a great place to play because it had glass around it and she could see us all. When my son, Caleb, opened the door to let her out, she had filled up her diaper with one of those "Oh my God it smells like something died!!!" while in there!!! Caleb, quickly got her out and shut the door!! We were all laughing so hard at the table about the poor soul that would open that door !!!!

Also, on the creative things to do with enzyme caps....my boys have figured out that when you take 1/2 of an empty Creon 5 cap, put it on the end of a medicine syringe (filled with air), they will shoot very far with a very loud popping noise! Of course the boys love to chase eachother, trying to nail eachother!!

Thanks again Amy!! Everyones stories were great!
