Lily is still on the feeding tube and it dosn't look like she will be getting rid of it anytime soon. We were wondering if anyone had any advice on how to keep lily from messing with it.Walking and playing is kind of difficult. She steps on it alot and hurts her self. She gets into the y pot all the time. We have made covers for it but she gets her meds at night and they tend to be loud.If anyone has any ideals please help.

hi shawn my daughter is 19 months and has a g-tube as well. She doesn't mess with too much except when it itches . How long has she had it in ? We usually keep Sophia in onezie so she can't really get after it. Sophia has had the tube since May and gets fed pretty much 3 times a day through it. Does your daughter eat at all? Sophia does not. It is So frustrating i wish she would just eat already .Does she get night feedings as well. Sophia gets 500 mls over a 10 hour period. If you want to chat let me know i am in the same boat.

What about a backpack? I remember seeing a show about a little boy that had a g-tube and was on continual feeds. The pump was in a back pack and he was hooked up to it. All of the tubing was up and out of the way so he could function just like a normal kid.
