In the D.C. metropolitan area (NoVa) we're paying $3.89/gallon. My tank hasn't been full in almost a month. Never have enough money at one time! If I lived in the city I would get a scooter or moped. I'm currently considering getting my motorcycle license.

As for other countries, I just saw a short story on MSNBC about truckers in London. 300 of them got their trucks onto the highway at rush hour and just sat in the road to protest the prices because they're up around $9 a gallon.
