With you on this Marjoliene, our petrol price and the diesel price is the highest in Europe in fact the world. Your calculations are correct, yes we pay almost $10 per gallon. 58% duty is taken by the UK government per £ spent on fuel....the only thing going for us is that we travel less distance than they do in the US.
