How do you have CFRD and are PS?
I thought people got CFRD basically because their pancrease was totally not functioning?</end quote></div>
It's possible to have CFRD and PS because the islet cells are the one that produce insulin. Enzymes are secretes elsewhere. It's possible that one type of cell can still be functioning while the other has bailed out.
It's the same reason a person can have PI and not have CFRD. It's just a matter of which cells are functioning properly. I hope that answers your question.
