I have been using the Jarrow brand 500 mg.
They say to increase the uptake of the Gsh orally you should take 500 mg. vit.C with each dose. I did that for a few years and have stopped doing that and i still notice a difference when i take the GSh by itself.
As for NAC...... yes it helps <b>but</b> there are also problems with it actually getting out of the cells that the NAC is helping the body to produce. I also read that very large doses of NAC can be toxic, so i have not gone the NAC route yet. <b>I figured since GSH is not toxic and is exactly what the cf body is depleted of, then why go the long route to get it thru NAC when i could just as easily take GSH itself?</b>
I guess to each his own....what works for one may not always work for the other, which is why it is good to have options.
