. The reason is i'm sure is because pharmacutical companies are making bukoo money on drugs. But whoever thinks it should not be free, needs to get a life....who cares, whatever u can get free take it, we have good insurance and pay, but if you don't more power to u, that's like comparing the eflow to the nebulizer and telling u that u ahve to still use the old long nebs to saying if u need lungs, too bad, wait 10 years and instead of 2 years. Get a life, sometimes I think CF people can be their own worst enemys. you'll do better in life if u WOrrry about yourself in the future and quit always wondering if life is fair. It's not, and i'm sure in your life u have take what u could for free or will do it sometime in the future...UGHHH</end quote></div>
1. pharmaceutical companies make moeny on drugs. what does that have to do with Source CF providing eFlows? Source CF doesn't make the profits on the drugs.... pharmaceutical companies do, as you state. and the eFlow isn't made by a pharmaceutical company. it's made by PARI. please explain your logic...
2. i don't take things for free when i know people who are less fortunate than me can benefit. my doc offers me free meds and nebs all the time and i don't take them because i know others who are worse off than me could really use the free-bees. many people like myself think outside themselves.
3. when people donate to the CF Foundation, they are donating with the impression that the money goes to fund research for treatments for the disease. not for a free, new nebulizer invention. yes, the eFlow is a great concept. but i disagree with the concept that it should be provided for free at the expense of research for CF meds.
