Yep, I agree- I've always been told that blood in the stool (especially the black tar blood, because that means it is from higher up in your digestive system, and not just hemaroids, for example) should be checked out asap. great topic for a post...My little brother also has CF and isnt doing too good. I havent seen him in like 3 years and the other day he came home. I was so happy to see him, but he wasnt feeling his best. I knew the risk of cross contamination, but my excitement to see him got the better of me. WHAT A MISTAKE!

Now im getting hammered with antibiotics so im feeling a little better, but i guess i should've been a little more careful.

I have never had this happen but it doesn't sound like something you need to " wait and see" with but that is just me. I would call your doc or the on call physician with your clinic.
