Heading back to 60+ FEV1 from 26.

Forgive me if you already answered this. Are you currently doing the Pulmozyme (Dornase) daily? I am just curious about this. Also I visited that site you were discussing where you were buying "Mesosilver from Colloidsforlife.com" 1 bottle is about $24 and I was thinking about getting this for my son. However, after reading their recommended dosage Quote from their site "The recommended dosage is
one tablespoon 4 times a day. 
At a dosage of 4 tablespoons per day 1 bottle will last 4 days, 4 bottles
will last 17 days and, 10 bottles will last 6 weeks." That price?? Ouch! Also getting my son to take his enzymes (he takes about 16 pills a day) his other vitamins supplements twice daily as well, it would be quit hard to take this product 4 times a day. How do you manage the price on this? trying not to get personal with you here.

I can understand about the pulmozyme part not being clear, but I stated in the post 2 posts above you how much I am taking daily...but I'll go on anyways.. I am still on the one bottle I bought and I still have half of it left from an 8oz bottle. Please go back and read the post two posts above yours. To answer your question about pulmozyme I was taking it 5 days into this and then stopped I haven't taken pulmozyme in about 20 days.. previously I was taking it twice daily. Also note: Colloidal Silver in my experience will kill bacteria in your intestines, so make sure to eat yogurt with a nice amount of cultures, most of already do this, but some may not.

Had clinic visit today! looks like a 1% gain in FEV1 for a total of 30% up from 24% 7-8 months ago and 1% from a little over a month ago. Not the gain I would have liked. Over the holiday I did stay at a relatives house who has a dog which the day after thanksgiving when I woke up realized I was severely allergic too. Which has resulted into tightness even up until today. They gave me prednisone and slipped me out the door, back in two weeks to have another whack at the PFTs, they are going to let me know about cultures as soon as they have results. Overall still feeling great, see if the prednisone helps or not. Tomorrow I see the Endo Dr about Testosterone and possibly HGH. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> 60% is within my reach, I just know it. (insert evil laugh here?)

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that so far, I have gone from 26% to 48% on my latest pft's. Exercising and spiriva + Cayston are a great combination for me. I am currently on the waiting list for a lung transplant but I am in the best shape i've been for long time!

I'd imagine because this is Cystic Fibrosis and similar to the lottery you lose more than you win. lol.
