Hi all, i just wanted to say CF or no CF none of us know how long we are going to live. </end quote></div>

The average age of death of a person without CF in the United States in 2006 was 77.1 years.

The avereage age of death a person with CF in the United States in 2005 was 36.8 years.

None of us know how long we'll live, but if you think as a logical person (and you don't try to skew the facts to make yourself feel better about yourself), you'll examine the #s. Your chances of dying if you don't have CF are much lower than if you do have CF.

Facts are facts. And they can't be changed to make you feel better about making a decision that causes a child to suffer.
