Here are the federal poverty guidelines: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/06poverty.shtml">http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/06poverty.shtml</a> Since your child is 3, in order to qualify for Medicaid for Children, your GROSS income must be at or below 133% of the FPL. So, if you are a family of 3, the FPL (based on the table above) is $16,600, and 133% of that is $22,078. So that's the maximum you can make and still qualify for this program for the MEDS (Medicaid for children) program.
