HELP

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think the problem may be the bottles. Alex accepted medicine droppers full of 1/2 breastmilk and 1/2 formula, as well as formula mixed with a tiny bit of rice served on a spoon. So, I am going to purchase some different bottles tomorrow.

Also, I wanted to let you know that although Alex took only 6 oz of straight liquid in those two days, he had plenty of fruits and formula mixed with rice. And I did breastfeed him once last night, too. I am going to try just the dropperfuls tonight, but keep pushing the bottles during the day. (In addition to the fruits and rice/formula)

I am giving lots of cuddle time, too, for me and him. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

Just remember that until age 1 breastmilk or formula needs to be there MAIN source of nutrition and they shouldn't take less than 24oz in a day. Sp you def need to push the formula/bm -even if its just with a syringe.

Have you tried a sippy?
