HOW DO YOU TALK

I am always told that I have a "raspy" voice. I don't know if that's good or bad. Some say I have a "good radio voice" (better than someone saying a good radio FACE )

My college roomates used to comment that I breathe loudly in my sleep...but I can't tell

Definitely an interesting topic.

I can pick out the sicker CFers in the waiting room if I hear them talk for sure. They have sort of a nasally high sounding voice and talk with a certain cadence... do you guys have any idea what I'm talking about? Anyway, I don't think I have that yet but I do breathe pretty heavily even at rest. So, Zoe's mom, don't feel bad! It's pretty normal for us, I think we breathe heavily even if we are relatively well, just to get more air, out of habit.

Another thing I notice, and wonder if anyone else does, is that I take a huge breath every so often. It's like a sigh almost, or a big gulp of air. People always think I'm sighing at them, but I'm really just trying to get extra air!!

I get out of breath horrible when I do stairs. I hate when my friends are talking to me on campus and we go up stairs to lab or something and I can hardly talk lol.

Biking, etc seems to be much less dramatic though. I wonder why?
