How many of you take your HTS in your E-flow?

After soaking mine in hot soapy water, I rinse out with hot tap water and I have never had clogging problems. I soak the head in isopropyl alcohol after every use and let it air dry before next use. About once a week, I disinfect it with Contol solution that the pharmacy provided.
Also, I've never had any bleeds from doing Pulmozyme in the eFlow and the dosage is the same.

Can somebody tell me why we have to use DISTILLED water? What exactly is that?
I usually was my e-flows (I have two, so that make's it easier) in soapy water after every treatment, and then I boil them for 5 minutes (not the metal thing, that sits in 70% ISP alcohol) and then when the boiling water cools down a little, but is still hot, I rinse the metal thingy with that water.
I'm just following the VIDEO that I watched for the AI study. (who also provides me the soap and the 70& alcohol for free)
I thought boiling is supposed to kill everything?

I love my e-flow...it has aided in my compliance. I love that it takes batteries! I use the extension piece and it's a nice QUIET neb...I do it in the car, on vacation, at the computer. Too bad it wasn't out when I was in college! That's when my compliance hit the road. <img src="i/expressions/neb.gif" border="0">

Again, just my $0.02!
