How much have you raised???

Our walk is on Saturday, May 5th, and I have raised over $4,300 and counting!! All this by my walk letter campaign<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> This doesn't include anything that will be coming in from my girls school in which the PTL has recently pushed, and from church members, so I am very excited about the money raised this year<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Great post AMy! We have over $2,000 and still counting. Our walk is on May 12th and this weekend we are having a Bkini Carwash and hoping to raise lots of $$'s!!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has posted in this thread and everyone that helps get donations for Great Strides and all other CF Fundraisers. We all know that the only way to get better meds and hopefully a cure is to fund the reasearch!!

It saddens me when people don't participate! I know at our clinic, which is small, here in Indiana, that the nurses have been trying to hand out the brochures and we have been trying to get new walkers and teams ( I am on the Committee for our local walk) and it has been disheartening that not many of the patients at our clinic or their parents will even take a brochure to consider doing the walk! People have to wake up and realize that if we don't raise the money to fund the research for new drugs and a cure that no one else will. We all have to do our part!!!

$$=research=new meds=longer lives!!!!
