Hi everyone just wanted to know how often are your clinic visits? Here in England its every eight weeks.
We have had an issue at clinic as for many years the clinic has always let the children mix. As in children were in a small play room all togeather and coughing etc in close contact with the others. To be honest we could not understand why they let all of them mix in such a small enviroment. Everytime our child went she would come home and be ill and have to go on antibiotics.
We raised this issue with them after our daughter got pseudo twice. We have now said that we do not want to take her to there as we have been doing cough swabs with our gp. She is doing great. It has been months since she has needed antibiotics.
They have told us we have no choice but to take her there, and say they now do separate rooms. My point is the children still stand a chance of picking pseudo up as they could go in a room where a child who has it has been.
Have any of you had this problem? We are happy to get her seen but feel whilst we can do the basics with her gp why should we have to put her at risk.
Have any of you encountered this and what have you done...What are your rights?
