I was diagnosed at 2 yrs old. I was coughing and was taken to allergist. Was not getting better so they suggested testing for CF but told my parents not to worry they just wanted to rule it out. Well, I have CF and the rest is history. I was tested with a sweat test.

Good luck.

Ry wouldnt' gain wait, and was far below the charts at two months old. They first though Hannah and Michael were starving him, but when Hannah mentioned that he was salty, they tested him for CF, and there it was.

I know, Hannah would give a pierogie to a member of the PLO of they looked hungry. The idea of her starving anyone cracks me up, since her first question when guests come threough the door is "Are you hungry?"

My son was 3 months old and got a cold that turned into trouble breathing and refusing to eat. He was admitted to the children's hospital in RI. He was positive for RSV. Instead of getting better, he got worse. He was sent to ICU twice, put on a vent once, picked up rotavirus, and was in nutritional failure. Eventually they did a sweat test, diagnosed him with CF, and started the right meds and treatments. Once he was able to gain weight and come off oxygen, we went home (five weeks total). Now he's a happy, healthy, goofy, picky, adorable toddler.<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
