I DID IT!!!!!!!

I did it! my husband left. We had a huge cant say fight bc we didnt fight but talk this morning and he finally left. we agree'd i would keep lucas. he will help pay bills and can come see lucas whenever he likes unless i have something planned. I told him he can come see him when when ever he wanted and if i was to be put int he hospital he would be the first person i called. Tomarrow, im checking into HUD, ADC, Foodstamps. I'm scared to death but im positive i can pull this off. I got the trailor but im currently looking for someplace cheaper. My mother said when she gets her big check shes gonna help me get a place. ((with deposit bc i can afford the rent but its the deposit i have trouble with ha)) I know my mother will help out the best as possible. So will my dad. But yea i did it! After i get everything straightened out with living situations and whatnot i am going back to school. Getting my GED and hopefully going to college <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

P.S. That butterfly in the tummy feeling? Try calling it excitement rather than fear and see if that keeps the good energy flowing. (Works for me most days ;-)

haha on the butterfly feelings because yea i got them. i think it is excitement too. because im starting a new life with my son and omg im so gonna cry right now of happyness. haha butterflyish love it. its so funny how someone can be happy, excited and scared all at the same time.

Taking that first step is always the hardest, but it takes such a weight off your shoulders. So do your research and get the benefits that you are eligible for and step by step you will improve things for Lucas and yourself. Most important during all of this is to take good care of your health because stress does a number! HUG!

Too many times I've watched verbal agreements fall apart when someone who agreed to pay bills doesn't, or someone who was fine with not seeing the kid regularly suddenly wants full custody. There should be a community based agency in yor area who can point you in the direction of getting this down on paper to protect you and Lucas later on. You can probably get legal help for free or at a reasonable cost through a program like this. Pleas look into it. In the meantime, enjoy the butterflies. You are right, you should to excited about this new phase in your life! Congratulations!

YEAH !!! For you...Tami had very good advice for you, having it legal would be helpful in the long run... document everything... set amounts through the court are best, so if he stops paying, he will have to make up for it sooner or later (speaking from exper. ) I'm so happy to hear you have all these plans for you and Lucas...
