I don't mean this to be negative at all I'm just wondering if anyone else feels this way..
Hey there..I totally can relate to where you are at, I had no health insurance at all from about sixteen till 28 years old and it was HELL.. I was only able to go to Clinic and not CF clinic a medical clinic in a local hospital.. The whole time in all those years they only tested me for TB and HIV over and over again.
I also am a Christian, and I a lot of the days know life once I die is going to be so much better then what it is here... and I have seriously, and still do occasionally, sometimes more often then not think about "giving up" I won't do it though for the people that I love.. other wise I would....
Giving up is a personal choice, it seems to me that you are frustrated and that is so understandable, to me, my best encouragement is to, at least try to get on meds and see if that makes a difference in your quality of life.
I would try that, I am going to after I get done with this blog, research Allentown... I used to live in NJ and I went to Morristown Memorial Hospital and I saw DR Stanely Fiel and his nurse Paula Lomas..and the rest of the team.. They are wonderful, and not to far from you... I will email the social worker.. and see if they will see you..
Do you think you can get to Morristown Hospital, it is really only about an hour or so from Allentown? I don't want to call them and ask them to see you for free and than have you not want to go so let me know.. In the mean time I will email the social worker to see....
There is always a way my friend, and sometimes God wants you to keep searching,
Please let me know if you are willing to go to see them and I will give you there number or you can look them up
THey are an amazing team, and Dr Fiel is cutting edge leader in adult CF, he was a forrunner in opening up adult CF clinics...
Good luck to you my friend,
jennifer
