I do mommy/baby yoga and swim classes and additional swimming whenever I have the opportunity. Walking with the stroller is pretty much a daily activity and I try to do at least 30-60 minutes at a time. I occasionally jog using a jogging stroller but my allergies prevent me from it sometimes.

Other things I do at home are jogging on my treadmill and exercise DVD's (pilates, aerobics and yoga). Oh, and I lift my 22 lb baby girl all day long so that counts for upper body strength training. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> No O2 but if I needed it I would use it the way Jerry Cahill does so I could be active outside.

Right now Amelia is too small to put in a bicycle baby seat but next spring that will be fun too. I also love hiking at a local park but dont do it that often. It's something I like to do on vacation too, along with swimming. I don't ever take a break from being active unless something in my life stops me.

Can I add to this question?

I don't exactly belong here because I have bronchiectasis, not CF. But some of my treatment seems to be similar to that of people with CF so I lurk and learn here. I post regularly on the bronchiectasis r'us forum, and I often link people over there to threads that I read here. We have quite a few people growing fungi, MRSA, PA...etc.

Anyway, my question is at what point do you pull back from your exercise routine? When you are running a temp? Some other marker? And at what point do you start it up again?

Thanks.</end quote></div>

Hi Melissa,
You do belong here especially since you are able to benefit from what you are reading cf or not.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
In answer to your question, i dont exercise if i am running a fever or feeling crappy.
