Diane,
I forgot to mention that I started Singulair about a month and a half ago. I went to an allergist and found out I have enough of an asthma component that he took notice, though I was not allergic to anything. I have not had an update yet on my PFT's. I had one of those little PIKO meters and I noticed my FEV1 was going down after my xoponex would wear off and when I would do a puff it would increase by about .10-.20 points. Enough for me to take notice. Though I could never duplicate this in the office. Anyway, they did some kind of smear test on my sputum and found a certain kind of cells, there were enough to confirm asthma. Anyway, long story to tell you that I have noticed a difference in being more open with Singulair. Especially in the morning. I don't know if they told you to take it at night but you are suppose to take it in the pm so it kicks in just in time to hit the asthma "witching" hour which is early morning. I am hoping it has some kind of effect on my PFT's but even if not, that no crackle more open has to be a good thing. I also notice less sputum. Have a peaceful night and don't you dare wake up in the middle of the night thinking about things that God is in control of <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
