I work full time at a tech startup doing Marketing and HR for them.

Great job, but intense!

Don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.

FEV1 in the 100s.

Set aside time to workout and do treatments.

I worked full-time as a truck driver for 23 years. I drove cross-country for about 5 years & spent the rest of the time running AZ-NM-TX-NV & CA. Mostly stayed in AZ though.
When I was trucking cross-country I had an inverter rigged up in my sleeper so I could do Pulmozyem & other meds via SVN.
After I had my lung trans I thought 'Cool! Now I can work for another 20 years!'
Wrong.
I was able to work for only 9 months post-TX. After that the anti-rejection drugs turned me diabetic.
You can't drive a semi & be insulin dependent.
Now I'm retired.
My wife says I need to enjoy what time I have left. I spend my days riding my ATV in the back country of AZ.
I also still travel. I like to spend winters with family in ID.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss driving a truck.
It was what I was meant to do & I really miss it.

Cool story, Pat! Only one Q on my mind: I thought people with CF can't drive semis? Or is it just diabetics? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
