Hi, its understandable to be nervous telling people and being afraid someone wont date you...which is why you should tell them AFTER they agree to being ur gf/bf...that way if they dump u its one of two reasons...1. they really didnt like u or 2. its cuz u have CF...

I always waited till after a month of dating someone to tell them I have CF. They were all losers until I met my fiance.

Hi! im alyssa, 18 years old, diagnosed at 8 months. Ive been in 2 serious relationships and my first serious bf i didnt tell and my friend ended up telling him and in the end he didnt care he was mad that i didnt tell him. so my second serious bf i told and he didnt care either. he was so supportive when i started going downhill (as a lot of teenage girls do) and i was so thankful for that. and even after we broke up he is still the one to this day i go to about my CF and when i get scared or angry about it. No boy or girl is going to freak out they might get scared and have lot of questions but no one will leave you unless they are totally shallow which means helllllo they are soooooo not worht it. and for others that are scared to tell your friends! dont be! its the simplist thing to do! when they say he lets hang out you say i have to do my treatments first and when they say huh you say i have cystic fibrosis its a genetic lung diesease. go google it haha i told all my friends to google it so they did and now its no big
