Is it possible to be obese and have CF?

I was pretty damn chunky before I went vegetarian and started back at lifting weights. I was way too heavy for my height. I was 5'11 and 225 lbs. Not that much muscle either. Depending on what you eat/dronk and your lifestyle, it is very easy to become heavy.

Here's an article I wrote that describes a few conditions that have very similar presentations (symptoms) as CF.

</a>
Some CF patients are pancreatic sufficient and have no problem gaining weight or keeping the weight on. Others may become overweight because of continuous steroid (prednisone) therapy. Don't let your doctor diagnose you based on symptoms alone. CF is a genetic disorder and must be diagnosed using the available genetic testing.

No meaning to offened anyone. I just heard on GA that 75% of americans are over weight and happy to be in that percentage.
