Sorry you're feeling this way. I've never been on Azactam so I too, can't say about that one. I also haven't experienced those effects with being on Tobramycin. HOWEVER the Prednisone is a different story. I've had my share of side effects with Prednisone from feeling shaky, eating out of control and never really satisfying my hunger, to really giddy, to sad. The most recent time I was on it was last year, and at work out of no where I burst into tears Not cool, especially when working with patients. I'd have to say the Prednisone side effects you are having are something I too am familiar with. Sorry you're feeling this way, and I hope everything gets better very soon!

I remember one time when Austin was on Steroids. WOW! all of a sudden he would cry at the drop of a pin. It was like a feeling blue cry. When I had mentioned it to the nurse one day she had said oh he has the "STEROID BLUES"

So I would be thats what it is Debbie!

I could swear I already responded to this, but I can't seem to find where I did.. ( another side effect of steroids)

I am always on at least 30 mgs of Prednisone daily, but very often because I have something called Addison's disease, I have to increase my doses of steroids.....

Prednisone is well known for making people have a full range of side effects from wide range mood swings, muscle pain, joint pain, increased hunger, forgetfulness, etc

For me... I have actually hallucinated on Prednisone before...(the bathtub nozzle looked like a shot gun to me) saw things that weren't there... I have had to take medications to counter act the effects and I swear I am lucky I have never killed myself when I have been coming off the steroids because I get so depressed.

I have had severe joint pain to the point of feeling like there are shards of glass in my body also.. I don't want to make this about how much I am affected by steroids but I want you to know you are not alone, and thankfully you will be off them soon...

It usually takes me a week or so of being back on my base dose before I feel like myself... Right now I am still weaning down and I feel like crapolla

Hope you feel better
