I know what you all mean about drinking a bunch of water in the morning. That is gross! I also hate waking up to IV's too! That really sucks. ESPECIALLY after being up late unhooking the night before!

The IPV in the morning is seriously heinous - just a big salty mess, although it gets the job done for me. Sometimes I wimp out and do the vest in the AM if it's just too much of a hassle to deal with all the components of the IPV. Can't really skip out on morning airway clearance though or I'd be a wreck for the rest of the day.

I second (third? fourth?) the idea that just getting out of bed is the worst part. But after hearing that Jessi wakes up at 4 I guess I shouldn't complain. I only do that sort of schedule on days I have to do treatment AND get to the doctor before work.

I don't like eating heavy protein rich foods in the morning. Blech. I try to eat only cereal during the first hour I'm awake but I don't even want that most times. Tomorrow morning I have to begin taking thyroid meds first thing in the morning with a full glass of water then wait a half hour to eat. Yuck. I'd much rather just have coffee and eat lunch at noon. Wishful thinking!</end quote></div>

Ugh! Me too! I went to the diabetes education nurse and told her that mornings were my worst time (for high blood sugar), told her I usually have cereal and a yogurt for breakfast and she started suggesting things like eggs, sausage, english muffin with cream cheese, etc.. Ummm- No. I'll take the shot, thanks...

I also hate dragging myself out of the bed in the mornings- so much sometimes that I have help...pulling me by the ankles...lol.

Anything before 12 noon in general is too early. I hate getting out of bed. Once I am out of bed, I'm still sluggish. I'm more of a night person.
