Hmmm, mine at 1 hour before, 1 hour after. I wonder why such a discrepency. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

And yes, Vanco send my numbers through the roof and can't take it anymore. I've not had dialysis yet, but have been close, and I fear it.

I'm like Joni, I drink water constantly on ABX, even oral.

I've had kidney failure 4 times already. Once was due to TTP (similar to what people get from e. coli) and that was super bad, creatnine was up to 9.6.I had dialysis and plasma apheresis. 3 times I had failure from cefapine and cefzil. It happened 3 times due to the fact that the two medications are not known for causing kidney failure. They actually caused rhabdomyalisis (which was super painful), which led to the renal failure. They originally thought it was from Vanco, then next time Tobra, but I didn't think it was either because I got the rhabdo right after starting the cephalosporins. My creatnine is always on the high side, considering my age and skimpy weight of 120-130 lbs. it usually sits at about 1.2-1.4.
