laundry question

I haven't noticed that it does. It shrinks some things. But I don't really care. That's a small price to pay compared to the benefits I am getting from of the lifestyle changes I have made.

My Mom has never washed my clothes any special way and I'm not going to either. It has never harmed me to have them not washed any special way.

My routine is pretty normal.....whites with bleach, dark clothes and dark towels together, and then all the light clothes and light towels together. I wash all of my clothes in cold water to conserve energy and I use Tide Coldwater detergent. I add OxiClean to every load. The only clothes that I wash seperately are extremely dirty clothes (like hubby's work clothes because he works on natural gas lines).

JMHO....I think that life is way too short and I have much more important things to do than worry about doing my laundry any special way. They all get clean, that's all that matters.

I don't do laundry any different. I do use vinegar because we have hard water and it works as a fabric softner of sorts.

I've also read that white vinegar is a natural disinfectant and kills germs and bacteria and is also a fabric softener so I've been adding it into my bleach compartment in my washer. Once I run out of my softener I may just use vinegar for that too. I wonder if I just keep doing my laundry like I have been for years, all my girls clothes together, including underwear, all darks together, including underwear, etc., if the vinegar will kill all the bad germs and not be spread to my other clothes.
