Thanks for that Karen. It seems like so many meds out there can cause sleep problems and aches, two problems I already have. Its becoming really hard for me to find a balance, but I just keep plugging along. I'd rather ache for a few days than get really sick.

Hello, all!

OK, so I shouldn't have read these posts! I am trying Levaquin for the first time every tonight and now I'm terrified....

My doc Rx'd this in place of cipro cause I'm resistant to cipro. I didn't even realize there WERE other oral abx besides zithro and cipro. Good grief. They just always go directly to IV meds for me (except for now she wanted to try this instead since my PFTs are about the same... a little worse... and I'm coming off a cold.)

Does anyone have anything good to say about Levaquin?? I already have severe insomnia but take ambien nightly and it helps.

.... I guess I just did a search for levaquin to see what others have said about it and this is my first thread I read. Uh oh.

Don't be scared of Levaquin<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">.....just watch your side effects. It is a very good drug! Everyone reacts differently to meds. I just should have paid closer attention to what was going on....maybe the dose could have been adjusted.
