I totally understand the normal ppl dilemma. I volunteer at an animal shelter and we just got a new volunteer. The second week working with her she says, "wow, you haven't gotten over that cough?" I say, "nah..." "what's wrong with you?"

"what's wrong with you?" ??! I was super offended the way she said that. There's about a million different, less offensive, ways to ask a question like that. All the other volunteers know about my CF and are still baffled by it, too... but not careless with their questions/comments.
