looking young

i get that i look like i am in college or a senior in high school and i am almost 30. whenever that happens, i have notice i am in workout clothes or a t shirt and jeans. it irrates me that people think i look young. i tend to dress in church/business wear to help me look older.
i just have to be reminded that we will be the tina turners and madonna when we are in our 50s and older. WE will still look good when we are older. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> and everyone will be envious of us.

At my age I think it's a blessing. I'd much rather be mistaken for looking 33 then 53!
On my 41st birthday my parents took me out for lunch & the waiter didn't believe that I was 41. He guessed 33.
I do remember it bothered me some in my late teens/early 20s to have people say how I looked so much younger, so I do feel for some of you.
