Oh ya, i definitely think it's cf related.

It probably comes from having less then adequate nutrition in our early years....when we are growing and maturing, so we don't fully mature, or mature later in life.

I used to hate it. When i was 18 I looked 12....getting into bars was a hell of a time. I've had people refuse me AFTER looking at my health card, my drivers license, my SIN card.....they just couldn't believe I was of age.

I get carded 50/50. I don't really mind it. The older I get....the more i kind of appreciate my younger looks. I can't wait till I am 30...I will look 18. It's gonna be marvelous.

Yeah, I really got stares my freshman year in college. It did result in more attention from girls though, which I liked.

I have the problem, I do think it's CF-related, and it doesn't make me feel better one iota when people say I'll appreciate it when I'm older. I also agree that it is a hindrance professionally.

I got a comment from the nurse when I was having my OGTT, saying that they were talking about that I (the teenager) must have been (committing fraud) by using someone else's insurance, because I couldn't be that 36 year old woman who was listed!
