I still use the small stage 1 baby food bananas -- the Gerber ones are plastic squares and have lids. For times when DS falls asleep before I give him his last meds of the night. I put a capsule on a spoonful of bananas and follow it with a water chaser.

Brandon is only 2 months old so he can't quit eat one of those but I am sure his sister who loves applesauce will love that idea. I used babyfood bananas -- still do -- I just call it banana sauce and don't let DS see the packaging. For some reason as a baby he didn't like applesauce but liked babyfood pears and peaches and sometimes the orange pineapple.
