Hey Everyone, my name is Dawn and I'm a 24yr old full time student and personal trainer. Up until the last couple of years I've always had a great energy level and in non stop on the go mode. I still in that very same non stop mode, which I love, but by the time I wrap up with my clients and school I'm spent! It's kind of like I just have to keep moving because if I sit down on any kind of surface what so ever, it's game over and I'm down for the count haha. We all do it right? I mean we push through the rough days, the exhaustion, and the consecutive nights of restless sleep due to coughing spells and power through the days so we can accomplish our goals and don't miss out. But I seem to have hit an all time low in terms of my energy level and am looking for some feed back on how you guys counter the exhaustion. I'm open to anything that will help me get threw my jam packed semester without sacrificing quality time enjoying life with friends and family!

I try to get to bed early if I'm totally spent. I work full time, 45 hours plus (at a computer desk all day) and am a full time Masters student (two classes a week.) It's tough, but I just keep going. I'll rest when I die.

Hi there,

I am in the same boat as you and very busy. I work full time, going to school for my masters, and have two kids under the ages of 3. And if I sit...I crash. So I really try to stay busy and then just go to bed at night when I'm tired and I try not to force myself to stay awake. Oh how I wish there were more hours in a day! I just don't feel like I can get everything done that needs to be done. But what I can suggest is maybe letting yourself take a small nap each day to give yourself a little boost to get through the day. My parents were visiting last week and I ended up taking 3 naps during the week while they were here and it was great! I was able to stay up later and not feel tired the rest of the day. I guess I didn't realize how tired I was until they were here. Is that something you could do? I don't really have that option to take a nap on a normal day, so I just go to bed a little earlier. And if I need to stay awake, I just make sure that I'm active and not sitting or else I might just doze off.
