It's my understanding that cfer's usually dont contract mrsa unless they're sick and run down...then they're more suseptible to it.
I dont know if that is correct, but I believe that mrsa isnt that easy to catch. On the other hand I wouldnt be placing my children in a position where they would come in contact with it (just in case).
Hopefully what I have said here proves true in your case <img src=""> So maybe you havent contracted it after all, hope that is the case...I dont actually have any experience with mrsa, maybe wait until you know for sure you have it?</end quote></div>
Not really true. I first cultured MRSA when I was at my healthiest, despite the MRSA of course (granted it was very light at the time).
Also, chances are people you come into close contact with CF or not (family members, close friends, exc.) will also culture MRSA if you had them do the culture test.
Some people think of MRSA with CF as death sentence when it's really not. However, if this is what you needed to start being more compliant then it will be well worth it in the end.
