Barney. We vowed never, ever to have the evil purple dinosaur in our home. Unfortunately, they had it at daycare and said he'd go nuts at a very young age when he heard the barney music. Which is why I swear he's evil -- must be subliminal message in the programming.
DS watched Barney or Elmo around that age -- was hypnotised by it. Worth a try. Another thing we'd do is sing "Old Mc___ child's name" over and over with different animal sounds at the top of our lungs.

Yea! The first time we haven't had any battles at all. I have a long list that we're taking up to the CF clinic on Monday for her appointment...
I downloaded a white noise maker to my computer two nights ago and having it on helped. I don't get white noise, but hey, that one was less of a battle, too.
We're just having a hard time finding our groove with all of this. It takes so much energy just to emotionally prepare myself and Abby for her meds and CPT! Who would have thought!
