NEW YORK STATE MANDATES SWINE FLU VACCINE

NYS has done it again! We are the first state to mandate that anyone working in a healthcare facility get vaccinated for seasonal AND swine flu by November 30.

There is an uproar in the medical field.

Here is a link to a one of our local papers with one of our Nurses who is willing to lose his job over it. I think this might just be the beginning:

I wonder if the healthcare workers will be able to sue for any negative side effects that they get from the shot.

As a CFer I do get the regular flu shot, but I have no intention of getting the swine flu one..

As a healthcare worker, if I was told I was mandated to get a shot, I would be soooo furious.. That just seems so wrong..

Wow. Frightening...though it does go along with the same concept of our children receiving their vaccines when going to school. There will be widespread dissent on this one....

I also wonder what the consequences/protection will be if the vaccine does prove to have negative effects.
