Hey guys,

Just wanted to update you all.

The great news is that I don't have MAC or TB or anything else crazy growing in my lungs that wasn't there for years already. So I'm pretty pumped about that.

My sinuses also don't look horrific (they're not great, but my ENT doesn't see a need for surgery on the drainage front, but we're still not 100% ruling it out because we can't quite figure out what else is up).

I've tired mixing up my diet before going to bet (sometimes not eating for 2 hours, sometimes eating what i usually do which is cereal, sometimes edamame) and there seems to be no correlation at all. I'll eat nothing, get night sweats. I'll eat cereal, get nothing. Eat edamame and sometimes get night sweats sometimes not.

Still waiting on the OGTT. Yes, I know, I should have gotten this like 2 months ago. But it will be this week as finals will pretty much be over with on Monday.

Oh yes, hormones came back perfectly normal too.

Night sweats still continue - not every single night but maybe 4 nights of the week. It's horrible and still wakes me up at night.
I am going to see an Endo before I head off to Japan May 16 to bounce ideas off of him cuz I'm anticipating my OGTT will come back normal. But I realize I still could be going hypo at night.

So I'm going to start pushing for other things that might be causing this. My only issue is that I'm moving to Ohio for the summer for my internship so things like sleep studies might take a bit longer since I'll need to get referrals, etc.

If anyone else has any ideas, I"m open to anything! Thanks so much!!!!

I don't have suggestions or solutions for you, but wanted you to know that I can totally empathize. My night sweats are from menopause (I have hot flashes all day, about 2-3/hr) and will wake up about 8 times throughout the night. It's horrible. Even my sleep medication the dr. prescribed doesn't get me a whole night's sleep, altho it helps a little bit more than if I don't take it.

Just wanted you to know I know what you are going through!

I'm glad that your tests came back negative...now if they could just figure out what is going on ... Let us know how your OGTT comes back.
