I think you made the "kick around" comment in jest, but I was surprised that you would talk this way of a former US President.
One of Bush's repeated requests was that he hoped Obama would not be treated with the same level of disrespect that he has. There's no risk of that happening for a while (from the main stream media), but it will be interesting to see what happens after the honeymoon period is over--kind of like the Clinton's experienced.

Anyways, Chief Justice John Roberts was the one who had difficulty with the oath, apparently President Obama memorized it and paused when Robert's fumbled the wording around. Anyway, Obama got sworn in again about an hour ago. Cheif Justice Roberts should have used a teleprompter to deliver the oath.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I heard yesterday on FOX news some conspiracy nut claimed that Obama wasn't the President as he didn't say the oath right, but then some other guy shut him up by saying that the Constitution states that on January 20 the President-elect becomes President at noon, oath or no oath. And with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton riding shotgun, Barack Obama will keep us as safe as any Republithug, and without giving up any civil liberties in the process.
